BRUSH CLEANER

For cleaning wet brushes and rollers. This special liquid emulsifies oil paints, varnishes and polyurethane from brushes and rollers which can then be rinsed with clean water.

BRUSH RESTORER Removes dried paint, varnish and polyurethane from brushes and rollers. Pour into a glass or metal container so that the roller or bristles of the brush are covered. As it may take some time for paint to soften, cover the container with cling film or foil to prevent loss of restorer by evaporation. As brush softens, restorer can penetrate faster. When bristles are softened, rinse in water to remove all loose material.

Knotting for sealing knots, resinous and creosoted timber to prevent bleeding through paint film. Sandpaper surface smooth before applying liberally over knots and surrounding area. Do not sandpaper knotting once applied. Resinous and creosoted timber should be sealed completely with 2 coats. Allow 1 hour to dry before priming. Clean brushes with methylated spirits. Knotting should not be used under polyurethane clear varnishes or water based varnishes and water based paints. Based on pure shellac and alcohol.

QUICK-DRYING STAIN BLOCKER

A quick drying water based matt white Stain Blocker for interior and exterior use, with excellent adhesion to wood, plaster and previously painted surfaces. STRYPIT Paint and Varnish Stripper

A powerful paint remover for all paints, enamels, cellulose, stoved enamels, emulsion paints, synthetic finishes, polyurethanes, french polishes and varnishes. Penetration takes from 1 to 15 minutes, depending on type of finish and thickness of coating to be removed. Strypit does not contain caustic or acid and is non-flammable. May be rinsed off with water or white spirit. As water raises the grain of wood, rinse off wood after use with white spirit and off metal with water. If the wood is being bleached with Rustin’s Wood Bleach after stripping, then rinse with water as the bleach contains water.
